at the little salon we recognize our clients' uniqueness and work to achieve a style and color that suits each individual. Consultations take into consideration hair texture, face shape, coloring and life style. Our Sarasota location, in the Historic Rosemary District, is a small, contemporary salon with an urban feel and specializes in precision hair cutting and color only.
the little salon is owned by stylist Renee Wunderli. She has been cutting and coloring hair for thirty seven years. She started her career at the Antione Salon, Saks Fifth Avenue, NYC, working under salon director Pierre Henri. From there she moved back to her home state of Michigan where she opened four salons over a period of twelve years. Renee eventually moved to Florida where she opened the little salon in two locations: Longboat Key and Sarasota. She has trained and worked with top stylists throughout the US and abroad including Vidal Sassoon in the UK. She is highly skilled in precision cutting and color techniques. Brian Boyd, cutter and colorist, Brian has worked closely with Renee and Melvyn to hone his skills in cutting and coloring. Brian's style of cutting is based on the Vidal Sasson principles of precision blended with his personal creative energy and often looking at a head of hair "outside the box". He was recently named second runner up, Best Hairstylist in Sarasota, by SRQ Magazine. Brian is a classical guitarist, film maker, cyclist and avid reader in his spare time.
LaTrynna Brown, LaTrynna came to the little salon in the summer of 2008. She moved to Sarasota from Pennsyvania, where she helped her mother operate a busy salon. After working the front desk and training with Senior staff on cutting and coloring at the Central Avenue salon, LaTrynna moved to our newest location in Bradenton. She is manager/stylist of the little salon on wares creek on 6th avenue west, which is located in the DeSoto Towers Residence. If Bradenton is more convenient for you, call LaTrynna at 941.748.8900.
