Melvyn Ainger has been on a journey of twenty six years taking in the best
of everything: the structure of shape and geometry being the root of his
passion. Starting in 1980, moving from England to Europe and finally to the USA, Melvyn has developed his techniques, dismissing the complex and unnecessary.
A background of Creative Director with the likes of Vidal Sassoon & Toni and Guy
has led him to the opportunity to create a Center of Learning in Sarasota, FL

V I T A L
This course is based on essential tools needed to refresh or create a strong
foundation in haircutting. From lines through graduation, all basic elements
are covered.
U L T I M A T E
If creativity is your goal, this is the course for you. Working with intricate
sectioning, using advanced techniques, we move into a more editorial road
of collections for the hair artist with an unencumbered, free way of thinking.
Workshops will be held on Sunday + Monday from 9am to 5pm
Day One
• discussion and demonstration in the morning
• hands-on session in the afternoon we will provide each student with two models
Day Two
• discussion in the morning, includes one model for each student
• hands-on session in the afternoon each student will work with one model
Class size is limited to 6 students to ensure individualized instruction by Melvyn
